The D.A. runs
a series of special events each year some of which count towards
a national CTC Touring Competition - details on CTC website
- which is strongly contested.
Full details of all events will appear in the list of rides at the appropriate time.
The events usually include:-
2.5 to 3.5 hrs.
19th March 2017. Entry fee £2.00
Start and finish at Upper Dicker Village Hall. Start time - 10:00 a.m.
Hall open from 9:00 a.m. Refreshments at finish..

This popular series of rides is usually run in May. It starts and finishes at Ringmer Scout Hut (by the Green)

1066 Country Ride (organised by the Midweek Section
& 1066 Cycle Club)
20th August 2017 Entry 30km £6; 60km £8; under 18s £5 (all £2 extra on the day)
30 & 60 km rides around the beautiful 1066 Country.

Hillclimb - a fun event - estimate

Usually held the 1st Sunday in October
- another fun event.
Usually held in November before the East Sussex AGM.
Usually held on a saturday afternoon in the first two weeks of December, at a church in the Hailsham/Horam area.
All members and friends are welcome and tea and cake is served after the service. It is not necessary to arrive by bike.
Sussex CTC Lunch.
The extremely popular Club Lunch, catered by the ladies of the Group.
This is usually held around the end of November / beginning of December - and full details and booking form will appear in the October/November Runs List & Newsletter

CTC Birthday Rides. A week long camping & cycling rally held in a different D.A. area each year during August.
Held on a weekend in mid-June this is the countries
largest cycle rally, with lots of events and trade stands.
CTC New Forest Cycle Week. An informal week of camping & cycling in July. Many rides use the Forest tracks. Click here for latest details.
